Ooh I love duckweed! And yeah it's green algae. What's wrong with brown algae/how do you get them? I read tht algae gives goldfish their bold colours. Saw them regularly eating the stuff if I forget to feed them/attmpt to fast them. My pond is unstrategically placed where it gets lotsa light. And I keep finding algae floating on the top. I saw a vid showing a kid scrubbing algae with a scrubber. Can I make a homemade one?
Will corys go with goldfish?
No, cory are tropical.
Actually, I have three healthy cores with my goldfish ^^ They've been in there for over two years.
Just because you
can doesn't mean you should, we are giving advice on what is best for the fish and putting cory in with goldfish is not what would be best for the fish, having cory in a pond especially during winter would definitely not be good for the fish
@Toboe that is so cute!

Agreed. Im sorry if we sound rude, we dont mean to be but we are very opinionated people here that care deeply about fish. XD
I ordered some really nice fish food for my goldfish. I cant wait to get it!!
When you get excited about fish food you KNOW you have gone insane. XDI also got a scale to weigh them. ^^ It feels like Christmas!!

I know X3 But mine are fine, I don't know if I'm just lucky or what |D They're in an aquarium, not outdoors, so that probably helps.

You might just be lucky that something hasn't gone wrong yet. To be honest I would separate them if you can to make sure they stay healthy. But that is why we try to spread knowledge about it, because someone else might not be as lucky as you. Then they try it and something goes wrong then they start blaming people and it becomes a huge mess that is better avoided.
I saw a 10 gallon tank on sale at my LFS.... I'm tempted to go back and use it as my snail tank since I had to take them out of the betta tank tonight.
