are statements of "never give them wet food or that is all they ever want" true? I got Gary Nulo seinor kibble to see how that does his bowels but it seems like he won't want it with great relish. this is ot good as if i mix wet with a fiber rescue kibble, I won't know if that will work. and there is no IBD drops over the counter. if he does have IBD

I think its entirely preference. I feed my cats both wet and dry, one of them prefers the wet and the other prefers the dry.

It depends on the cat but I've noticed older cats tend to like wet food more than dry. And in general wet food is better for cats. But if you need to feed him dry I would mix it in with wet food.
