It depends in my opinion. My Freya is more like an untrained dog (She loves to nip and jump at you), Olvier(When he was alive) Was very much like a cat he loved to cuddle and sleep on you,and dodger is in the middle it depends on his mood sometimes he likes to cuddle other times hed rather help freya attack you.

Yep he looked like DEW Marked to me. All Ferrets have different personalities, like Raven said it depends on the ferret. I find they are kitten/dog/toddler mixes. Gambit is more of a dog like personality, a hyper active nonstop dog. He is tough and crazy, and comes running to greet you. He also waggs his tail and pants like a dog. My friend has one that is the same, like a little dog, but she has a boy who is cuddly and sweet and easy more like a feline. They are really their own type of animal, there certainly is nothing like a Ferret.

My dad used to have a ferret, max, who lived on the second floor of their house. If anyone went upstairs without shoes or socks on, their toes would be pray to max.

Yep! Most ferrets love the toes, mine just loves shoes! But are feet are the only thing they really see when looking ahead. Mine loves darting and nipping my feet to try and intice me to play with him, but he wont touch my fingers.

Yeah, Max didnt really like the hands as much. He wasn't the nicest Garret I've gotta say, but dad still loved him. He'd bite pretty hard, but some people, like my dad, he just left alone. It was kind of odd, like you said, they usually nip you because they want to play, but max left him alone. Maybe because he liked dad most? I dont really know...

I have a question! Does anyone elses ferret(s) Go crazy over cheerios and cheese-itz?

Maybe he had learned that it wasn't right to bite your father and respected him, but never learned that other feet weren't off limits? But ya, they have sharp teeth and can certainly bite hard.

Gambit loves food, probably because his last home he didn't get enough of it. But I would never let him go near anything like cheerios and cheese-itz because they could be very bad for them.
