Don't keep it! I know I shouldn't say it but they are a nightmare to look after. You can't truly tame them, they can get used to you yeah but that doesn't make them tame, training is almost impossible and above all it's a wild animal. With Achilles we had no choice, it was keep him or see him put down as all the rehab places in the area had no room or no facilities for taking care of an injured fox. He has been with us since he was a cub but he is still dangerous and is in no way tame, he just puts up with us when he wants to and stays in the garden when he doesn't.

Red fox who we rescused as a cub after seeing his own mum reject him due to the fact he was weaker than his littermates and had what we later found out was a broken leg.

how can i convince my dad to keep him? say It wont survive in the wild on its own, you need to take care of it! And animal control doesn't help wild animals, they just put them down because unlike cats or dogs they cant adopt out a fox!

Get him to a rehab center. You're twelve and foxes are NOT dogs.

It is imperative he gets experienced care right away.

My moms friend has a pet fox and it is perfectly tame...

Have you gotten him or her to a vet yet? You should make sure he is not sick or something!

i agrre with everyone else you should send it to an animal reserve i have found a baby fox too once and i just adored it since i was only 10 but 3 years can change alot of things and trust me i had the fox for about a month and got sooooooo stressed! its better just to give him to an animal reserve and also are you canadian? cuz i'm canadian and well im pretty sure if your an american canadian's know more about forest animals lol no affence
