Hai!

I also have a question! Whats the best type of cage for gerbils? I have them in a cage with a really deep pan, But i hear tank toppers are good...?

Tank toppers are good. I use a ten gallon tank with the topper on top and the tank is filled with bedding ( a lot! )

Gerbils are pretty messy though from what I and heard so a tank keeps the bedding in for me. And the air enters through the top so its not to cold not to hot where I currently have them. But the only problem I have with a tank topper is that its really hard to to put your hand down in it unless I'm at an awkward angle.

Yup, I have bedding... EVERYWHERE But it doesn't bother me because my room has wood floor, And i have to sweep up rat, Gerbil, Rabbit, And Chinchilla poop everyday

I heard sometimes a tank is better (with or without a tank topper) because sometimes gerbils get there tail caught in the wire. But my gerbils have no problem with the tank topper (which is wire).
