I think there should be made a rule, to not advocate the use of vegan diets for cats, as that's something that comes up often and really, is not worth an argument anymore.

Could the thread owner maybe make a rule like that, as well as link to some post from the previous thread, which explains the harms of a vegan diet for a cat? I would find one myself but it's past midnight and I still have to write my paper and aaa.

This topic is a bit ridiculous to discuss, to be honest, and I really feel uncomfortable with it being brought up time and time again.

This isn't an agree to disagree or come to an agreement behind closed doors thing. They are feeding their cat an inappropriate diet that they have been advised against by their own vet. Anyway, I find mini-modding more annoying then a debate or argument.

Meanwhile, Transkitty is prepping chicken drumsticks for our dinner and my cat is circling ey like a shark and begging as hard as she can for a piece.

(I just got here, gonna join up my cats thingy, but just wanted to quickly say, I am a vegetarian, but feed our cats what they need, my 15 year old one, the dry food she likes, and the 5 year old one, she is an out side cat, so a mix of wet food in jelly and... animals ^-^'
lol, I hate the smell of her food, but cats = my life, so whatever she wantes XD)

my kitten was super interested in your icon. climbed onto the laptop and tried to catch it and everything!

I wonder if theres a way to easilly tell if a kitten is too aggressive? His playing does get pretty rough, and though we are trying to teach him to stop biting, so far there hasnt been much luck. Plus hes a rescue, so we dont know anything about his parents and their personalities..

I live in a neighbourhood with lots of cats, and my 2 cats (both she-cats, one 15, the other about 5) fight alot... ^-^'
But thats not all, there is this one cat living 3 houses down, and it comes into our house to eat their food at night. The younger cat gets realy scared and likes it best if i stand with her while she eats in the morning. Once she brought in a dead mouse, so I went to go get toilet paper to pick it up, and not only was the Tom from number 1 in the storage room, it was in the living room! I was so scared...
Do you have any tips? Usually we do just lock the cat flap or shut the door, but if one of the cats are outside, we don't like locking them out... make any sense? XD

I would suggest not free feeding the cats and keeping them indoors so they can go on a feeding schedule. If the tom comes for food having no food and a closed door will stop it.
I cant think of another solution.
