It's better than becoming flattened worm ridden, decomposing piles of crap on the side of the road, being treated with much less respect than taxidermy.
"If you only appreciate the live animals, and don't appreciate the dead animals, then you are missing half of the true fundamentals and nature of life." ~Takeshi Yamada - Rogue Taxidermist
There is beauty and grace in both death and life. Society has taught us to fear death when it is a natural thing. Animals don't care what happens after they die.
We can preserve animals in taxidermy. Why not? It is not treating the pelt/body with any disrespect.
The taxidermist whose works I showed above is very talented in my opinion. :I
sorry this is really off-topic. to make it on-topic, here: {link} [wolf's rain :p]

[...] it is a form of art, and to put it harshly (not meaning to be ) the animals are dead, they don't share our beliefs of burial, and so I don't think they really give a [kick] what happens after they are gone.
Nor do they have any knowledge of it.
As well as this, the images of skulls can be educational in some way, and skulls have always been art.

Hm. Taxidermy is not really my thing, but those examples look really good. That person really did a good job on those.

I know, too bad they're so dang expensive. >:c
However, this is all somewhat off-topic, and since I brought it up, I'm going to bring it down.Have you seen a wolf [of any species/subspecies] in real life? If so, where?

Welcome to the supporters!
I have!^^ Every year my town has a big expo-event thing, and this year I went with my family. They had a cage there and there were three wolves inside, all of which starred in the movie "The Sorcerer's Apprentice". There were two wolf-hybrids and one pure blooded wolf. I took my picture with the wolf/alasken malamute. He was huge, fluffy, and soft.

N'awww, lucky.
I don't recall ever seeing a wolf for real anywhere since I've been on earth(x3)... Although I have seen them on T.V and on google if that counts. o:
