You have to fill out the form on the front, if you did, it hasn't been accepted yet, by Liru.

I, #23, will dedicate myself to helping wolves have a better future. I swear to give my all in protecting these beautiful creatures, and will help in anyway I can.

Okay, just to reassure people on the wolf hunt here in the freezing MN,we do not kill pups.If you see/hear/or know about any of this sort of action, please, contact the DNR IMMEDIATELY.

Wolves are like people/dogs; they have their moods. They're all different. So many variables in every living things life affect it differently than it will another.

In MN, the wolf population shot up when the wolves around here were no longer endangered. Please don't jump to conclusions about the hunt being bad :? they made hunting so we could have food, but now we use hunting as a population control system. Think, if there weren't hunters, how would the population be affected? Numbers would climb dramatically, diseases would spread faster, and resources would start to diminish.

We're not stopping the howls really, we're helping keep them, and other wildlife, safe. Poaching is a different subject though, and should be reported. Each region has a slot limit (limit on wolves allowed to be taken) and will close when met. If you know of any continued wolf hunting after that region has been closed, again, contact the DNR. This is poaching.

Hunters have their* right to hunt sorry I had to say that

Sorry if I sound rude, but what does that have to do with her form?
And yes, hunters do have the right to hunt, but not to the extent that they take it sometimes.

Maybe because the banner below her form suggested that wolves shouldn't be hunted?

There are laws and regulations in place for a reason, as game tiger said. Any hunter breaking said laws are no longer hunters, but poachers. I can't speak for every country, but I know that at least the us and Canada, there are seasons in place so pups aren't killed. By the time hunting season does come around, the pups are already old enough to fend for themselves. Sure, they might still be loosing a pack member but wolves don't grieve to the extent we do, and it's simply part of nature. We, after all, are a part of nature too. No different than a wolf killing a rabbit or a deer, aside from the fact they don't have seasons, humane methods, laws, etc.

A species will never go extinct due to hunting alone. Poaching is again, another matter.

I know,I love wolves, but they were a problem. But sometimes there's jerks out there that hunt illegally,or shoot young ones (well, young deer anyway.I haven't heard of wolf pups being killed though) and it really upsets me.I'm thinking about talking to one of the DNR officers and discussing the issue with him.Hopefully I can make it illgal to shoot deer that still have their spots :(
