I, midnight the wolf, will dedicate myself to helping wolves have a better future. I swear to give my all in protecting these beautiful creatures, and will help in anyway I can.

and the summer before that when I was camping I saw eather a coyote or a wolf run in front of us chasing after a squirrel into the forest! It looked like a young grey wolf because it was white more then brown like a coyote. anyone know??

btw I used to be Wolf~Loveprobably a coyote, they're much more likely to run out in front of a human than a wolf is. coyotes can be a wide variety of colors including those that looks similar to wolves, malamute-faced yotes and ones with much more white markings are pretty common
it's pretty hard to mistake the two, coyotes are much smaller than wolves (smaller size and build overall),even young wolves will have a bulkier build than a coyote would. grey wolves also have much smaller ears and different faces, though without getting a good look it might be harder to tell, my bet would be on a coyote, it's pretty rare to even see wolves let alone have one run in front of you (coyotes are much more curious than wolves and more likely to come near you)
but haah i havent been here in a loong time,,
