Lykoi! I want one really bad. I also love ocicats, sphynx, and bengals. I had an ocicat a long time ago and he was wonderful. I also got sold on singapuras since I met a breeder at a pet fair and she let us hold and play with her cats.

Munchkins are really sad. They're cute but munchkins are like bulldogs in that you're buying a deliberately deformed cat that comes with a lot of health problems. As much as I like sphynx cats they also have problems. The gene that's linked to hairlessness is also linked to dental health, which is why a lot of hairless pets have horrific teeth.

I forgot about them as well , iv only ever seen one where I live tho. As far as I know he was imported then abandoned rescued and nobody knew what he was, he found a home . If I had had a spot for a new cat at the time I would have taken him

I love bengals and Manx cats, they’re so beautiful and I have family in the Isle of Man. I don’t believe that they have any major health issues with age either? But if I had to choose one, I’d go with the good old Domestic Shorthair.

I'll be bringing my sphynx kitten home from the breeder in January. They require more protein than furry cats due to their lack of fur, so they need a high protein diet, and preferably one that is very healthy. Does anybody have any recommendations? I am located in Canada and will prefer to use dry food. I cannot afford a raw diet and I don't like using wet food.

Just a quick question:
Does anyone here know how common it uncommon it is for a cat to have markings on its tongue? Like small dark spots?

@canary: Pretty common if they've got white markings as far as I know! My boy has black markings on his tongue and the back of his mouth (he's a classic tabby with white).

Ok, thank you! I was just wondering because I have a pure black cat who has a black spot on his tongue, and I wanted to know how many other cats had similar things. I haven’t seen another cat with tongue markings before.
