Following my 2017 answer... pugs are still my favourites.
I only have one now (the two mentioned in the last answer have since passed).
My current boy is athletic and incredibly intelligent. I've come to realise this is a terrible combination and I hope my next will be a dopey one 😂
Hope do you cope with your border collies???
My boy undoing the latch of his crate and the like has done me in

My family has a problem with Labrador Retrievers. Specifically BLACK Labs. Its not that my family can't afford them, it's just we have been getting them since 2006 and every time one passes we get another. And we haven't looked back. We currently have two at once, a girl and a boy. I think we need counseling.

Standard Poodles. I believe they are the all rounded dog. They are not overly energetic like some breeds and are able to chill on the couch all day if needed but, they are still a very athletic dog. They can participate in lots of different dog sports while also just enjoy a hike in the woods. They are goofy in their mannerisms as well as elegant. Their fur is fun and can be trimmed in all sort of creative ways. As a groom i find them really fun to groom. They can be fancy but that doesn't mean they are afraid of being a dog and gettibg muddy. From my experience personally with my dog and other popdles I've met they are good around children and other dogs. They are super smart which makes them enjoyable to train and they learn tasks quickly if you make it fun. I'll never not have a poodle.

This is a hard one!
I LOVE sighthounds. I own a Borzoi and they're an incredible breed. Gentle, goofy, fun. I want a Scottish Deerhound one day, too. I love Greys, Azawakhs, Saluki, Sloughi, Irish Wolfhounds, Afghans, Ibizan... the list goes on! Many there that I wouldn't want to own but that I greatly admire. My Borzoi is a show dog so I have been really lucky to meet many of these breeds and I love them all.
On the poll, I voted pit bull. I owned APBT and other bully breeds most of my adult (and teen) years so I am extremely fond of them. Bully breeds are great dogs <3
And I am also very fond of terriers and toys. My Borzoi is my first show dog, but I considered a terrier before I settled on a sighthound. I do really love the feisty nature of the terrier, and the companionship that the toy breeds give.
Needless to say, I am just a dog lover in general and I admire a lot of different breeds. Sighthounds fit my lifestyle and I adore their quirky nature.
