Yeah there's a reason I don't feed raw. No science behind it and too much risk for unproven rewards. Tambora's just fine with Fussie Cat cans and a little side of N&D dry with dinner.
Update on landlord situation: He has now given me until Thursday to rehome Tambora. I told him flat out not going to happen and I'm still looking for a new place to live. Legally he can't do anything to remove my cat, but he's having someone come into my apartment on Thursday and I'm sending Tambora to a kitty daycare for the day just to make sure he's safe and he doesn't "accidentally" get let out.
Spent all day chasing after a promising apartment and it turned out to be a total scam. Thankfully not out money but eh. It's getting really stressful.
As a reward for sitting through all that, here's the little miscreant himself.

Good idea with the daycare! A friend of mine had her dog "get out" one day while she was at work, turned out her landlord had decided to "check the water pressure" in her apartment and "accidentally" left the door open. They're awfully sneaky when they want something done, it seems.
If you're not able to find an apartment before Thursday, do you have any friends or family that might be able to watch Tambora for you? It would be cheaper than putting him up in a boarding house or a daycare everyday until you find a new place. Even if they could only keep him in a bathroom or a spare room, it's better than nothing.
Actually, if there are any pet-centric groups for your area on Facebook (like a lost and found group) maybe someone there could foster him for you? I know I've met some very nice and trustworthy people through groups like that. It's totally understandable if you don't want to trust someone else with your cat, just figured I would toss out some ideas. c:

Aww, he’s really cute! Good luck in finding a new cat-friendly apartment. To be honest, I think that I’d rather move house than rehome my cat. She’s sitting next to me on my bed right now, and I love her so much!

So the conclusion of this adventure.
I got no place I can afford that will allow me, my dog, and my cat. So I'm moving back home with my parents to save up and Tambora will be going to my Oma's house to live with her and her cat until I get a new place (my parents have a lab puppy that would be too overwhelming for the cat.)
I'll still see him on holidays and when I finally move in with a friend of mine next year. I'll miss him a lot between now and then.

Well, at least you got something figured out, even if it's not exactly what you were hoping for. Definitely better than dealing with a shady slumlord. Wishing you and your animals all the best while you wait to move again. c':

First time poster!! Really need some quick advice~
I found a stray cat outside about half an hour ago and was wondering what I could feed it. The nearest store with cheap fpod is about 7-10 minutes away but I'm letting my sister borrow my car for the day so I can'tdrive down and get some.
I've never owned cat personally so I don't really know but all I have to offer the cat is:
- canned tuna
- frozen sausage (pre-smoked)
- eggs
- frozen meatballs!
Thank you for any help and advice!
