It honestly changes per weight of the rabbit. I was told this not only by a rabbit savvy vet, but also countless websites state so, I'm also trained in Pet nutrion as well through my work.
Hay and veggies are more important to a rabbits diet than pellets. Pellets do have vitamins, minerals and other nutrients but essentially they are more of an added supplement to a rabbits diet, than a direct food source.

Yeah I agree with this too, a lot of pelts don't have all that a rabbit needs. Only the most top brand foods (Not the kind at found at Walmart or in most pet stores) have a complete source of everything a rabbit needs. So it's best to give them hay and safe veggies you rabbit will love you for it. ;)

Yup! Plus rabbits can very easily become "pellet junkies" lol. I feed my guy Oxbo, it seems to be one the higher quality ones you can find in pet stores. Also vet recommend as well. :3

Okay, so Oxbow is good? I'll try and look for that tonight. And I agree - (but sorry to jump in, even though I've only recently joined here) hay is very essential in a rabbit's diet. My bun really likes his, and it's a lot easier to get him back in his cage when I have their hay to use as bait. :)
Because I met my best writing/internet buddy through her signature, I decided to list a bunch of things about me. Not that I like making friends. Or that I'm good at it.

Harry Potter; Lord of the Rings; The Hobbit; The Silmarillion; Anything Tolkien Really; My Little Pony; FimFiction; Fanfiction; AppleDash; TwiDash; RariJack; Writing; Poetry; Camp NaNoWriMo; NaNoWriMo; Rabbits; My Pet Rabbit Nali; Slender; Steam; Team Fortress 2; Minecraft; SkyDoesMinecraft; HuskyMudkipz; PewDiePie; Stephano (duh!); Smosh; Ian is Best Smosh; Woona is Best Princess; The Youtubes; Skypes; Scrivener; Movies; Scripts; Award Shows; Elijah Wood aka Frodo; Pippin is Best Hobbit; Tumblr; Shadowlands MC; Tinq.

Take... whatever you want from that. Just, please, no weird, obsessed stalkers, okay?

Okay.*

I buy my pellets in bulk
I usually buy a large sack [about 4 feet tall] full of pellets for about $30.
This is my first sack, but i'd say i'll have to buy a new bag every 5-6 months.

^^
Yes Moggy that happen to one of my dutch rabbits it was so weird. I had always given him hay and pelts but he began to eat the pelts and not the hay. I soon realized that he wasn't eating his hay at all so I started giving him less feed and more hay but that did't work either so I just stopped giving him pelts so that he would eat his hay. However he absolutely would not eat his hay and it was fresh hay too and all my other rabbits love it. So finally I had to give him the pelts because he refused to eat anything else and he was losing a lot of weight. After the pelts were given to him he immediately stated eating again and gained all his wight back and because like you said he was a "pellet junkie" I sold him he got a good home though as a pet but he was no good for breeding as fat as he was.

I've always just given hay as a treat to my rabbits. I feed them a high quality feed that has everything they need in it. I currently have 30 healthy rabbits.

I have to admit it, my larger rabbit named Bunny is a bit fat. I think that she's a Dutch, her face and body look very much like one. I got her from a pet store. She is spayed, but is there anyway to get her to loose weight other than taking her out? (I take her out very often, but it doesn't seem to be making a difference.)

Hmmm, it could be the food.

I feed her Ecotrition Food for Adult rabbits. She's about 2 years old.

Feed her less food? and more hay. Less veggies/starches/sugary things. More hay. Did I mention hay?

A rabbit is fit when you can easily feel the back and ribs through a thin layer of fat. If the back is too pokey and the ribs very prominant, then your rabbit is too thin. If the back is hard to distinguish, and you have to dig to find the ribs, your rabbit is too fat.

here is the most adorable litter of baby rabbits in the whole entire world.
