sorry brothers and sisters it does
then there's the whole "WLLVES R NOTKILLERS OR MURDERERS"

naw they're hunters but
they do kill so

It wasn't on youtube. It was on a documentary. When I said they weren't bulk, I mean they weren't muscular. I never said thin or desperate. They didn't get TOO injured, only a few cuts, bruises I guess. One had a bit of a limp afterward, but it probably wouldn'tve taken long to recover.

But don't you know that wolves are BEAUTIFUL HARMLESS ANGELS THAT WILL NEVER EVER HURT A SOUL!!!111111

We are animals with blood and organs.
Therefore, we are nom noms in the eyes of a wolf.
The decision to act on the urge to enjoy a human cheeseburger is unlikely, however it has happened, and I can almost guarantee you that there has been a wolf in the history of the world that attacked a person, documented or not. It's common sense and I'd be baffled to learn otherwise.

oh well I found one on YouTube
Guess I just watched a wolf turn into a fluffy red target for nothing
ew
But then there's always a chance that the documentary got uploaded
And since it was being filmed by a camera (as in the camera was pointed at the tv who even does that) there's every chance it was the documentary
but yeah I still dont see benefits

aeiou wrote:A predator will only pursue and kill prey that is beneficial to them
so a lone wolf wouldn't try to hunt and kill an elk because they have more of a chance of exhausting themselves / getting injured / getting killed
A lone wolf would try and bring down an elk calf / rabbit / human child because they don't have to spend as much energy chasing them (maybe not with the rabbit) and they would get more energy from the actual meal.

You should think of predator hunting like selling stuff.
People who sell stuff want to make a profit.
The wolf needs to make a little profit to survive.

Are you going against your statement then?

uh no
when and where did I say that they'd not do that
that is basically what a predator will do
sometimes they get lucky sure
like those wolves got lucky (let's ignore the fact that the one that got flung 10ft up in the air probably died days after) but really
that was taking advantages of the benefits of being a pack animal

(also sorry I can't type I'm sick and I'm tired)

quoting me isn't telling me anything bro I literally just explained I'm sick and I'm tired and it's late and I will not understand 96% of what you say unless you simplify it and throw it at my face

ignore that I'm going to bed
I can't understand anything wow

OK BASICALLY WHAT I WAS SAYING IS

They WON'T hunt if it ISN'T BENEFICIAL
BUT <<<<<<> ((WOW A BUT OK LETS GO WITH THIS))
SOMETIMES they will push a little too hard and sometimes they'll get lucky
For example a cheetah that runs a little too far for a gazelle but gets it anyway
It's only slightly beneficial but the benefits are still there
The wolf that got smacked around by the bison still drew benefits from that hunt
So did the other one

(WOW OK SO THAT ACTUALLY SOUNDED REALLY RUDE????? sorry uwu))

the two wolves that fought for their bison chat blah blah

    Then I quoted
aeiou wrote:A predator will only pursue and kill prey that is beneficial to them

    Then you said
aeiou wrote:when and where did I say that they'd not do that

    Then I highlighted
aeiou wrote:A predator will only pursue and kill prey that is beneficial to them

"Will only" means 'won't do otherwise' doesn't it?

omg just edit before i post mine then xD

I have come to the conclusion that I shouldn't be allowed to type anymore

i meant that i just
worded it wrong
i do it all the time i am rly sorry
just read this seeing as its apparently a better description of what I've been taught (my lecturer would've donkey punched me by now omg)

predator will hunt if benefits are there
sometimes they push a little too hard so there's less benefits
like a cheetah runs too fast, a lion hits the ground too many times, a crocodile gets kicked too many times, a wolf gets thrown too many times
but there's always a benefit
and that benefit is the energy they get from the food so
yeah
