But, just out of curiosity, what are the points of Dixie's personality that you like?

Like you said, she's not a people slut but she's velcro. She seems to have a good amount of drive as well as seeming to be happy-go-lucky when she's not stressing over something. She makes you laugh. Pretty much that's what I like in Boxers but Dixie seems to not be protective as much as I'd like. So, yeah, I like Dixie.

She does have a lot of drive, for sure! And so easy to motivate. XD

Aw, she is aboaluety georgeous! I love Goldies, but her colourings are really striking and beautiful! She looks so happy in all her photos,she sounds like she's a wonderful dog to have.

Dixie learned 'spin' (now I can say the command without using the hand signal and vice versa, and she'll do the trick.) Now she's learning "twist" [spin clockwise]. And we're working more on 'crawl' too. I think it might take her a little while to get this one! XD


This is my view from the majority of the time when walking Dixie.

I wouldn't go as far as to say an "awesome" owner. But I do try my best to be a responsible dog owner and provide Dixie with enough outlets for all that energy, physically and mentally. She's my partner, best friend, and she deserves all I'm able to give and more. c:
