anway kudos. someone looked up something and learned. I hope the rest of the animal-lovers here do it too.
(i so hope I don't see any "can I breed a bunny to a kitty topics, or i'm going to say it again and again and again...then again if they are 10...you can't expect a 10 year old to know rabbit and cat cannot breed)

wolf dogs are not like most in the canine family. They are much more difficult to understand how to train right.
I have spent my time looking into the breed because I myself wanted one. Until I found out what could come of having one. people that have owned the breed have recommended NOT getting one because not alot of people can handle them.
Some places require to have them tyed up 24/7 or have double fencing or even a very high fence. Then to add they have ALOT of energy...more then most types of dogs. They also get bored very easily, if you dont always keep them wanting to train then you are going to end up with a problem pup. Trust me it is harder then it looks to keep a animal wanting to train.
Also the breeders have said it is never best to keep them home alone. So there really should be someone at the house 24/7 watching over the wolfdog.
All in all
1. diffecult to train because of lack of interest if you cant keep it exsiting
2. gets bored easy
3. Can never be left alone.
4. Most places are off limits when comes to moving because of the wolfdog
there is more to it...now no one go tellin me that its like saying the same thing as a pit bull....wolfdogs are part wolf.
now I am not saying tthey are all bad under the right handler they can make great pets but just like pit bulls they are just not ment for everyone. Also there are even less people who know how to handle wolf dogs then there is for people who know how to handle pit bulls.

There are 2 million wolf dogs in the U.S. alone. And I don't even want to know how many aren't being taking cared of.
I watched one video and it said fences, to contain wolfdogs, have to be eight feet tall just so they can't jump over it. They are beautiful, I agree. But they are part wild and can hurt people.
I think after we prove points no one reads. It always "deh so buttiful! i want 1!"

That is true but there is some that are more dog than wolf, for example you can buy one that is 30% wolf or even one that is 90% wolf. It depends, they could act more like a dog, or a wolf. I have done lots of research, and I do think they are beautiful. I have wanted one ever since I was really little. And I would never buy one without doing the research.

Actually, it's illegal to have a wolf-dog over 75% percent wolf.
And yes, I say a "wolf dog" on You tube but it looks like a Siberian Husky and a Malamute to me. It might also just be a skinny, big Husky.

Ether way it's a wild animal (if it actually IS part wolf) Even if it's 10% wolf those instincts are still present and can emerge any time. It took thousands of years to breed the wild out of canines... not a few generations. It will still have a high prey drive and a strong urge to be possesive and dominant. If you really love wolves the best thing you can do for them is NOT support the breeding of hybrids and respect them as beautiful wild animals that do not belong in you're living room. ((not trying to be mean...just trying to educate))
