I've always wanted a pet bird again. A long time ago we raised budgies and my favourite was a completely white one named Stella (I would give a picture if digital photos existed at the time) and she would sit at my desk a lot and the only times she was even really in her cage was when it was time for bed.

What brings you to the bird chat?: just wanting to be able to talk to other people w/ pet birds I guess, and get more involved with others that have similar interests in animals :]

How long have you had them?: Almost 4 years now.
What brings you to the bird chat?: I just love birds and enjoy talking about them. c:

Here are some pictures of them. ouo The male {the yellow-headed one} is Elvis and the female is DJ. I didn't name them. I got them from a friend of my grandfather's. DJ is the tamer one. She's always been very friendly and sweet. Elvis on the other hand is pretty skittish. He's not too keen on being handled. In the first picture was one of the first {and only} times he's ever sat on my arm/shoulder. He's very vocal though and enjoys being whistled to. ^w^
