Oh yes, the money. xD Whoever claimed that fish were inexpensive pets to keep, were terribly wrong. :u (I haven't purchased a used car yet because I've poured all my extra cash in to my babies. :P)

By the way, is there a specific name for the coloring on this fish? I know it's a veil tail fancy, but the color? I have a fish just like this one (they could be twins), and was searching for the common name. :o I was wondering if it was more than just 'brown'. ^^

if it has boogly eyes (very scientific name there ) its a black moor

if not then its just a vailtail goldfish, i think their original colour of a goldfish was actually brown

The specific color is called chocolate.
This is a black moor. Black its really hard to keep on goldies in solid colors so most of them end up brown/chocolate.


Edit: might as well add this. There are also "blue" glodfish. Here is a blue Oranda.

Did you cycle it? :no due to emergancy( leaking tank ), no due to lack of knowlage, yes
If possible what are the ammonia nitrite and nitrate levels? : i don't have the tests yet
What is the issue or question? : how do i stop billy from piling his gravel in one place and how to move my fish without stressing her

I clean out a ziplock bag and add water from their tank in the bag, just enough to cover their fins. Tape the bag on the rim of the new tank and let the bag sit in the new tank for 10 minutes to match the temp then I take a small cup and add just under a half of that cup every 15 minutes.

Goldfish just do that with the gravel, its them looking for food, I recommend changing out gravel to where they cant fit in in their mouths or they can swallow it or choke on it.

Six koi/arowana feeder fish, 1 tiger barb, 2 patin catfish

Koi: 4 are un-named, they look so similar! 2, though, have permanent names. One is called Sam, he has a white underbelly. The other one is called Clown (ha, uncreative xD), because he has white and reddish-orange spots. If I find any other distinctive features on the others, I'll post them x3
Barb: I don't really like my barb, it's disturbing my other fish. Especially when it's the only one left.. The others vanished mysteriously.. I will be quite happy if he died, I mean, he looks unhappy in there.
Patin: One I named Ripper, cos he only has one fin. The other I named Regale. I just liked that name. ouo

Can anyone help me on this? My orange shoulder tang has been kicking up the sand(swimming really fast then stopping and angling upward) almost like a horse rearing. He's also "dug" himself a hole under some of my rocks. Is this normal behavior?
