Which still makes them descended from wolves. Even if they are crossed with wolf descendants, they are still partly descended from wolves.

I dunno, the way I see it, there are, for example, Poodles, that were descended from wolves, and Bichon Frises, that are sometimes thought of as bred from Poodles, so therefore, (by the Transistive property of equality XD) Bichon Frises are descended from wolves.

If that is so, then, Bichon Frises bred with Poodles will create Bichon Frise- Poodle-mix puppies, that will be descended from wolves.

At least, that's the way I think of it, please correct me if I'm wrong, but I think every dog out there is descended from wolves, whether they are mutts or not. I also saw this NPR article: http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=124768140 that says that dogs can trace their dominant lineage back to Middle Eastern Wolves.

I could keep going about this; wolves are descended from tree dwelling mammals that looked like civet cats, which were further descended from rodent-like creatures that may or may not have existed during the late Cretaceous, and those came from- okay, let's just stop there and say that wolves, herbivores, and felines all had that insect-eating rodent species as a common ancestor.

And (off topic a bit here) therefore, humans must also be descended from the insect-eating rodents, therefore, I simply don't understand why we tend to be afraid of rodents seeing as we evolved from them, supposedly.

Check out this for clarification: http://www.dhushara.com/book/evol/trevol.jpg
It's a giant tree that shows how we evolved from the tiniest of microorganisms; I actually find it quite interesting XD

EDIT: Looks like Dimetrodon, which was thought to be a "reptile" or dinosaur, but was found to actually be an ancestor of mammals, is another common ancestor that we share.

I, [scarlett 00], will dedicate myself to helping wolves have a better future. I swear to give my all in protecting these beautiful creatures, and will help in anyway I can.

You don't need to start hating on us scarlett, you are intitled to your own opinion, but I think Liru would prefer there were not many fights here, and you seem to want to start one.

Fairwell Chickensmoothie! It was a good run.

If there is anyone who I unfortunately left any loose ends open with when I originally disappeared from the site near the end of 2012, you're welcome to drop a PM if you'd like to try to resolve them. It has admittedly been far too many years for me to remember precisely what all may have been left unsettled.

In addition, if anyone sees this and would like to try to reestablish contact, you're more than welcome to drop me a message as well. I'll try to poke my head in over the next few months at the least in case any of the above happens, but cannot guarantee how often messages will be checked after that.

Best Regards,
HOWLING

Ditto...

But, let's not start another argument.
Anyone else got any topics? I think we've discussed almost everything possible.
