The wolf center in my city has some Mexican wolves, but...I don't think you ever see them, unless there are super special events; especially now since that they just had a litter of pups added to the pack members.
I really think the Mexican wolf should be released into the wild, but this might cause a problem if there are wolf hunting seasons- if you're hunting, I'm guessing it's going to take too much time to see whether the wolf you're about to shoot is a Mexican or a Grey.
I s'pose that they'll just have to keep them in wolf sanctuaries for now, until their population is healthy enough that shooting a few won't have much impact on the species.

I'm extremely sorry if this is off topic but...
do any of you play 'WolfQuest'?
[If you do want to play multiplayer with me XD WOW, I'm a dork.]
It's really quite fun, and a pretty decent simulator of a wolf's life. You can chose to be between male or female, choose one breed out of five. You practically have a wolves adult life. Find a mate, have puppies get a den raise a pack. My least favorite part is that your pups can die very easily and for me it's hard to train them. The ups about the game is that it's realistic, locations are great, it's free and you have so much to do in the game!

I don't really like Wolfquest. <:U I don't like the multiplayer filter chat. And I just grew out of it overall, I guess.
Fairwell Chickensmoothie! It was a good run.
If there is anyone who I unfortunately left any loose ends open with when I originally disappeared from the site near the end of 2012, you're welcome to drop a PM if you'd like to try to resolve them. It has admittedly been far too many years for me to remember precisely what all may have been left unsettled.
In addition, if anyone sees this and would like to try to reestablish contact, you're more than welcome to drop me a message as well. I'll try to poke my head in over the next few months at the least in case any of the above happens, but cannot guarantee how often messages will be checked after that.

I totally agree. I know we all have our own opinions, but this is to protect wolves. If you don't like wolves, WHY on Earth are you even posting here? I'm not trying to be mean, but it IS meant to save wolves and to talk about ways to save them and sites and discuss wolves as a topic. Not to fight about wolf hunting, the topic of grey wolves versus another breed of wolf (just because one's more common, doesn't mean it's not equally important), etc. I've actually been ignoring this page for a while because of all the fighting.

I think that's pretty sad, can we please put aside our differences and unite to protect wolves???
