And I quote:
Legal Status/Protection
Endangered Species Act (ESA): wolves throughout the Lower 48 United States are listed as endangered except in Minnesota where they are listed as threatened. In Alaska, wolves are not listed under the ESA.
So anyone who has been saying they are not endangered are very wrong. They are definitely /not/ listed as "least concern" unless you live in Alaska. So if you live in the U.S., they are endangered.

Whoever did that is seriously misinformed.
Grey Wolves aren't frickin' endangered for the last time. D=
In maybe, like, one area, sure, but overall they certainly are not.
Even if they were, I'd still shoot them on sight.
They're beautiful creatures, but they're in a lot of peoples way of living.
I, for one, would and will remove anything that dares to try and stop the way I live/survive.
Including the poor poor "woofs".

Wolves [in several places] are not endangered.
In fact, their least concerned.
It's not illegal to hunt them in several several places.
It kind of sickens me that those sites state otherwise.
LOL I know the law stupids. |D

IUCN Red List wrote:Although the Grey Wolf still faces some threats, its relatively widespread range and stable population trend mean that the species, at global level, does not meet, or nearly meet, any of the criteria for the threatened categories. Therefore, it is assessed as Least Concern (LC). However, at regional level, several wolf populations are seriously threatened. In North America, some of the reintroduced populations are still threatened; and in Europe... [etc.]
http://www.iucnredlist.org/apps/redlist/details/3746/0I go by IUCN as my number one source. c:
And we're most certainly not saying that we want to SHOOT ALL DA WOOFS. I only support wolf hunting where the population is stable and can support the loss, or where wolves are becoming pest animals. I don't agree with killing them where they're endangered, lawl.
