Today I'm gonna try washing it off. I used to have 2 algae eaters in my tank, there never was the least bit of algae in it. I might get an otto or some more algae eaters.

I lost Sunset :c she went into labour yesterday and this morning I found her dead, no surviving fry...

So, went back for that fish.

They said it was a baby molly, and stuck itin the molly tank. Why it wasn't with the mollies in the first place, I don't know. I'm also not enitrely convinced it was a molly either, the body shape wasn't right. But I didn't want to argue with them, and I didn't get it for if it did turn out to be a molly, 'coz I don't trust those things as far as I could throw em.

Ended up getting 4 females guppies. Asked for some not-pregnant looking ones, but a couple of them have pretty dark eggspots, so probably are anyway.

I'll try and get pictures of them soon!

In my 55g freshwater tank:
0.0.1 Synodontis eupterus (featherfin squeaker catfish)
0.0.4 Puntius tetrazona (tiger barb)
2.3.0 Puntius nigrofasciatus (black ruby barb)
0.0.2 Corydoras sterbai (sterbai cory cat)
0.0.2 Corydoras agassizi (agassizi cory cat) (not new, just forgot to list them earlier)
0.0.1 Ancistrus sp. (bushy-nose pleco)
0.0.1 Bellamya chinesis (mystery snail)
0.0.2 ---------------- (blood parrot cichlid) (no scientific name, since they are a man-made hybrid)
I also have three bettas that are kind of chillin' in "fry savers" in the 55g until their new divided 10g tank is done cycling.

Your fishs' names: oh my glob this is gonna take so long.. I'll only name the biggest, more eye-catching fish.
my blood parrots are Ollie and Moogie
my featherfin squeaker catfish is named Muddy Waters (after the blues singer)
my pair of maroon clownfish are Nymphadora Tonks and Remus Lupin (it was originally just the female named Nemo, but I renamed her when I got the male because I wanted them to have cute paired names)
pearlscale butterfly is named Pearl (don't judge me, I sometimes name my saltwater fish to help me remember the species' names now because there are too many to remember)
One of my bettas, the orange dalmatian, is being called Magnus Hammersmith right now, after a character from Metalocalypse. I might change his name.

How long have you had fish: since I was 5, so, a long, long time.

i am getting my 30 gallon tank for christmas. the 30 gallon that i got for my BIRTHDAY! i am getting it back for christmas! yay. -_-
after we moved my parents wouldn't let me use it... even though, ya know, it was MY birthday present...

anyway, so what do you guys think i should use it for? beginner fish? i am very interested in swordtails and angelfish. do they get along and are easy to care for? what fish are my best option?

Don't mix the two, angel fish are BIG bullies , they do best with their own kind. Swordfish are fine and do well with most fish. Mollys are also good fish

I disagree. Mollies are the biggest bullies I've ever had the pleasure of keeping.
