Hey, does anybody know what this breed is called? I suppose it's a fairly unpopular one as I can't think of anything off the top of my head that looks quite like that dog. I saw this female on a trip to Croatia and it caught my attention. Those are the only photos that I've got - it was a very well-build dog, fairly big, about two feet tall. Smooth, glossy short brown hair, as you can see, white patches on the chest and paws. Lovely dog, really.

I can't see very well, but it looks like there is a stripe of fur on it's back that grows a different direction. If it has one I'm saying rodesian ridgeback. But if not I think it's probably some sort of hound, I can't quite put mt finger on it.

Looks like a Rhodesian Ridgeback to me ^_^

Also, Ridgebacks can be born with and without the ridge.
It is not a good idea to try and identify them by if they have
one or not.

I've decided to post my dog since my mom and I have been arguing over his breed for years. We're nearly positive that he's Lab/Great Dane, but I think there's something else in there. Anyone got a guess?
*Sorry, pictures aren't the best at the moment; I tried to get the best ones I could find already on my laptop. Pictures are a little big.
