To the topic of how wolves feel towards their pack mates, I will give you a true story on how cruel to each other they can be.
Aparently, a few years back in Yellowstone park, there was a wolf. She lived in the Druid pack. Most people who saw her at the park called her Cinderella, but her ID was 42, or something similar. Anyway, she lived with her sister, who was the alpha female (Even though alpha is an outdated term, I will use it here for now). She and her sister both mated with the alpha male one year, and aparently 42's sister went into 42's den and killed all of her pups. Not so nice, is it? The next year, same thing happened. Both sisters mated with the alpha male. This year though, instead of killing Cinderella's pups, Cinderella and some of the other pack members turned on Cinderella's sister and killed her. The end.
