well they cant waste their life crying over a mate,for survival does not enclude crying over mates for animals.

So aparently you guys are either on the fence, or you keep on changing your minds. Aparently hunters aren't supposed to kill wolves in packs because all of the other wolves in the pack will be all sad and depressed. And now you are saying that it's okay to kill wolves in packs? Please make up your minds, and I'd choose the latter.

That post was more directed towards blacklonewolf, as I faintly remember (Though it could have been a different user) them saying that wolves were upset when their pack members got killed.

I'm not too sure about the no love part, but I do know that wolves normally don't show grief towards losing their mate.

Well i saw this movie,it was real life and it was about a hunter who kills wolves then notices that they are beutifull creatures and stops.He kills the mate as a wolf ans uses the dead body as a tarp and the other wolf comes.They do care.

I've seen that movie. It's fiction, sorry to tell you.
Just because you see one movie about something, do not assume it's factual.
That would be like watching CoN and coming to the conclusion that lions can talk.

Apart from that, may I please ask of you all to refrain from using GREY WOLF images in a 'save the wolves' stamp/banner/whathaveyou. PLEASE. They DO NOT need saving.

I agree with Cool Blue47...I mean, I think it's cool Liru made the wolf of the month only for endangered wolves... but all banners made for PAW are only hosting greys or arctics, all aside from a few showing Ethiopians and one showing the Himalayan. But for the main part, it's all about greys. What about the 39 other subspecies? They never get any love.

All endangered (arguable with two). And hardly anyone knows what they are, or cares for that matter. Iberians are my absolute favorite wolf, but I feel like the elephant in a room when no one knows what in the world they are.

i am/want to give all wolves love! which means just because you say they don't need love, dose not mean i'm not going to stop loving them!

For the last time, GREY WOLVES ARE NOT ENDANGERED. THEY ARE OVERPOPULATED. Some of their subspecies are endangered, but Grey wolves themselves are Least Concern.
