The WEIRD things that your pet does

One of my cats has burped in my face MULTIPLE TIMES, has eaten food that I spat out after choking on it, and the other has farted in my face with an audible *poot* when I picked him up, and screams when I try and take him out of the sink

The first one (Sandy) wakes me up in the morning by kneading my blankets and drooling all over them, and the second one (Sugar) yells every afternoon because he knows that’s when he gets his wet food

My dog gets hiccups, will throw a temper tantrum if someone doesn’t sleep by him when he goes to bed, and escaped several times from the backyard by digging a hole under and wedging open the (locked) gate (despite being only a foot tall), showing up covered head to toe in dirt on the front doorstep, (im)patiently waiting to be let in

My cat will yowl until you turn on the bathtub faucet at a trickle so he can drink out of it...

One of my cats (his name is cookie) will literally take a drumstick ice cream out of your hand if you are holding one and he will hold it with his 2 front paws and eat it

gosh gosh this makes me miss having a cat.

Our dogs practically try to be as weird as possible and I don't know if this is "weird" but one of them literally adores going to the playground. She gets so excited to see the kids and loves to slide down the slides (when its cool enough). Dog park? Lol no. Playground? Definitely.

I also had a rescue Collie and when a few people were standing in our kitchen talking, someone put a piece of gum in their mouth while she was standing there. They told her she couldn't have it obviously and so being the smart one she was, she went and got a bone and dropped it in front of them, nudging it closer as if to say, "I'll give you this if you give me that." They told her she still wasn't getting it and so she grabbed the bone and took off.

Not the first time something like that's happened with our dogs, but I'm positive it won't be the last.

My cat lets me rub her belly. And sometimes when I'm in the bathroom, she'll try to open the door by sticking her paws under.

My finches love dehydrated apples, but when I leave the room, they put them in their water bowl to rehydrate them! Weird, but cute.

The heat pad I got for my leopard gecko is too hot for her (I ordered a lower watt one, so this won't last much longer), but last night I heard some shuffling coming from her cage, and I just assumed she was digging around. Turns out she has dragged her cold hideout over to the heated side of the cage and is now enjoying herself.
She's so weird and adorable, I love her to pieces! <3
