Favourite dog breed and why!!! :D V.1

It's hard to choose c:

My dog's a mutt but definitely part Beagle (she's adorbs) and my SO has 2 Bostons and a Pit Bull. Dogs vary so much between breeds in looks and just in general. The Bostons are crazy but I love them, and the Pit Bull is the biggest cuddle bug you'd ever meet.

One of my favorite breeds (one mentioned above) would have to be the Pit Bull. They're so big and mushy and cuddly and in my experience at least they seem to have a strong sense of emotion and react strongly to the emotions of others, which I find very interesting!

Yes, I absolutely LOVE the Akita, ESPECIALLY the Japanese Akita, as there is 2 different kinds: American and Japanese. From the internet, here are some pictures:

I'll just spout out a few favorites here, some I'm thinking about owning in the future: "Ancient" street dogs, sighthounds (esp. Saluki and Ibizan), Standard Poodle, Shiba Inu, Australian Shepherd, Samoyed, Belgian/Dutch/German Shepherds (not my type, but I admire their work ethic), Spaniels (esp. Field and Spingers), Brittany, Doberman (Another I likely wouldn't ever own, if only due to health alone), Flat/Curly Coated and Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retrievers, Kooikerhondje, and Pibbles/Staffs

There are very few breeds that I'm not a fan of, though XD

Borzois! I definitely prefer middle-sized to big dogs, and their faces are so darn cute! Sure, they can look a little weird, but weird animals are what I live for.

Scottish terrier, hands-down. They are mini and mighty. They make great guard/alert dogs, and they make me feel safe at home. They are independent and stubborn little cusses most days, but will snuggle. I have two; one is aloof but tolerant, and the other is a kissy boy but very feisty. Plus, they're gorgeous.

I voted pug and german shepherd because I just love those two breeds... I don't really know why.
