You know there are many, many populations of wolves (small groups in different places, countries, etc?) it's not that the wolf as a species is overpopulated , but there are large groups out there which could cause serious damage to other wolves/animals. I will say it again: I love wolves, but people must watch the animals, before they become a danger for themselves.

Ridgeway's hawks are epic. They don't get attention. Island foxes are epic, no one cares about them. Amur Leopards are epic, they don't get too much attention.

They aren't overpopulated in some states/provinces/countries, but they are in states/provinces like Alaska and Yukon... Not too sure about the Yukon part, but Alaska for sure.

But grey wolves are overpopulated in Alaska, some ares of Asia (if I read right), Canada, Russia, and I believe Greenland, why not hunt them?

Sport hunting tends to help to keep the populations at a safe level too. I'm fine with all types of hunting except for Ariel Hunting. (Did I spell that wrong? Please correct me if I did.)
