thank you who did try to help with my last question here^^
hope you could help in the future too when the new kitten owner needs some.
oh wow...i dont know what happened-and i think i dont want to-^^' ...but we cant talk about food-diet here??...sad i wanted to ask if raw feeding is a good food for the time when the kitten is older...the new owner is still unsure if normal cat feed (dry and wet with some extra meat now and then...)or raw meat and some extras -or mix of raw and normal cat food... (that you can do with dogs and cats,... the dog owner who found the kitten together with me found a interesting book) are bether ...ok then i dont ask
....
but to the kitten:
the other dog owner found a owner for the kitten at the same day we found it
they where best friends from what i was told from the first moment on, the kitten follows everywhere, Comes to great him when he gets back home, goes to toilet, is as the vet told maybe 5- 6 weeks, healthy, got the first shot and deworming, is a bit light with 0.35274 Pound...160g or such when the other dog owner was right, but with the feeding the new owner does it should be a good weight again soon, but i can ask again, and its male^^ and maybe we can visit them soon, cant wait to see the little guy^^
Please klick them or they will die°°!!!

Those who do feed raw, is it just the same meat you'd get from the store to cook your own human meals with? Obviously not flavored or marinaded or anything like that, but is it the same? Or where do you get it from if not?

yes, when my cats (and dog as he more raw diet then the cats) get raw they get the scraps of human meat
they get the fatty bits off dogs roast beef wich is a slice bought from the store prepared for humans , or they get the mince from other human meals and so on
i need a new signature

Yes, you can feed meat from the store, it's human grade, whereas the meat that goes into kibble is typically not. However, you must have a least three different proteins, and with prey model raw you need a ratio of 80:10:10 meat, organ and bone. You can also give supplements, either store bought or things such as bone broth, turmeric paste, coconut/salmon/krill oil and things like spirulina.
Or you can go with specialised raw feeding companies, or even go organic.

I dont think there are any raw feeding companies around here, but since raw feeding is generally considered best (I think? correct me if I'm wrong tho), that's something Id love to get into eventually.

I've had a ton of luck with posting on local Facebook groups, and CL asking for people who are cleaning out their freezers to give me the meat.
I'd say about 80% of my 10 cubic ft freezer is full of free meat I got from people. If I just had my kittens, I could probably easily feed them for free all year. Right now my kittens are eating a blend of elk, venison, chicken, chicken liver, and beef kidney. I only paid for the organs and I can get them for under $1/lb

Does that mean she's getting used to me? She lets me pet her on the belly too!
I would say yes, for most animals, reveling the underbelly is a great deal of trust, becuse its the most vulnerable spot.
DoubleONothing wrote:Hey guys! I was wondering, do any of you have a cat on cs to represent your cat in real life? Or just have a special cat that you named after your real life cat?
sorta

not a cat but this guy looks so much like one of my cats(mum picked him for me so i dont count him as my first cat) HIs name was Dean and we had to give him up becuse he and my brothers cat kept having spraying contests, and we had to get rid of one, and as my brother had his since a kitten dean was the one we had to give up.
