There's a big difference and I have no doubt that BYBs are out there mixing random mutts together and labeling them Jindos. (For instance, CesaIa was told Kumo was a shiba inu, which he obviously isn't.) Not to mention the number of people who will adopt a mutt and label it some rare breed.

Well, that's what they told me and the dogs looked like them :/

Thankies! :D

I was asking this to see if Kumo would keep growing, because I'd originally thought he'd weigh only 20 pounds. But, it seems nature can give us quite a surprise!

-- Marking!

You guys wouldn't mind me lurking/guessing some breeds here would you? I'm currently taking undergrad to be a vet, and have been working in clinic for 2 years but the area I live in deffinanatly has a like in viability. Lab, retriever, pug, lab, shepherd, lab, rottie, Shihtzu, lab, boston, retriever, shepherd, boxer, lab... you get the idea... lol I'd like to get some more experience seeing/recognizing less common breeds.

Guesses?! ;)

I'd says its very hard to tell without seeing the muscle/skele layout of his hips and chest, but just off the face and colour he looks part Rottweiler..?

Hmm.. From the lean body that perspective I would lean more towards Doberman but the thicker fur and semi-floppy ears suggest Shepherd?
