i love bernese mountain dogs! they are so adorable! personally, i think of dogs as a canine over 1 foot tall. The smaller dogs like weiner dogs and jack russels i think of as "little yappers" or "rat-dogs" not to be rude or anything, but a dog is a protector, not the size of a loaf of bread.

Dholes are my favorite canines too. <3
But trust me, you wouldn't want my dog. According to my dog trainer he's never seen such a hyper dog before.
My dog is mostly black lab, he's about 90% Lab and 10% Boarder Collie. So yeah, Labrador is obviously the dominant breed.
My dog's about a foot so far, I think he'll grow up to two feet.

I wish i still had my dog. She died last october. Im still grieving. She was an american bulldog cross, but was a mutt as well. The dominant breed was definetly american bulldog, though. I miss her.

obviously, not all little dogs are like that. Some of them are really awesome. But most of them are untrained, so thats when i use that term. If you do get a dog, any type of dog, your lucky!

i have alot of room for it to run.
my yard is really big!
but my mom, just, dosn't, want, a big dog.
and to top it, my fence around my yard has alot of holes in it

If you ever get a small breed of dog, get a Portuguese water dog. I had one before, he was a great dog. They're small to medium dogs which hardly shed.

another type of small dog which doesnt shed is a black bichon frise. I dont like the white type but the black ones are lovely!
