The other dogs at the park were definitely more interested in each other than me and Blue when I rewarded her for responding to a recall. Blue herself was hardly interested in the kibble when she was given the choice of playing with the others. Again, I appreciate all of you guys being so concerned, but I really dislike being lectured about something that was clearly not an issue. I was very careful with the kibble and made sure none of the dogs there were aware of it (if any were, they didnβt show it whatsoever).
Anyway, the dog park was a blast! She had lots of fun playing with the other dogs, and it was good to have some older dogs teach her how to behave. She seems like the type of dog that annoys the others, and I think receiving some quick corrections from the adult dogs at the park was very educational for her. Her recall is also better than I expected! Not bad at all, just takes a few tries when sheβs particularly distracted... definitely need to work on it. The dog park was also CRAZY muddy and it took a long time to clean all the muck out of her fur. I canβt imagine what it was like for all the dog owners with long haired dogs! Definitely will be going back once all the snow melts and it dries up.

what breed of sighthound is this when i may ask, im a bit unsure because of the fur and color^^
interesting that you can wear black with this dark colored dog,the first time showing with my girl, a judge did take me to the side and silently told me to try going with more light colored pants, dresses or skirts to present my girl bether as i too did wear black^^
Hes a Silken Windhound!
And yes, we are only competitive in agility and conformation but we dabble in obedience, rally, and lure coursing.
Youβre right, It is better to wear lighter colors with dark dogs, but I was also showing two white borzoi on the same day. I will usually wear a white top with a black skirt for him.
What breed do you have?

Other than seemingly being left outside all the time I can hear them whining and howling to be let in at night (anywhere between 9pm and 1am) several nights a week. As well as being annoying and keeping me awake at night they seem a bit neglected. I was wondering if it would be in my best interest to report it, either to the humane society or to the police.
