My favorite subspecies of the wolf is the mexican grey! They're so fluffy and desert colorful, lol.

Yes, I know grey wolves aren't in much trouble, but it's the other breeds i'm worried about. Breeds like the Dire wolf have been exctinct for a long time, mainly because of hunters. Other wolves like the Mexican wolf are on the verge of the endangered list, that I know of anyways.

Mexican grey wolves are critically endangered, along with the Ethiopian ones.

yeah! My favorite is the maned wolf,, they don't look much like a wolf. that's why i like them, my second fav is winged wolves.... yeah I know they are not real, but I wrote (never published) a fiction book about them

I luv red wolves. There just so pretty, I wonder how they stalk their prey though when their pelts stick out so much. Well in fall they don't but like in winter their pelts must stick out like a sour thumb.
