Wolves of the Beyond is realistic on some levels, and unrealistic on others. But it is a great series so far. :D The author is the same author for Guardians of Ga'Hoole.

True, it is sometimes realistic, but I find it to be more unrealistic rather than realistic.

Volcano Jumping wolves in book three:
"Great Lupus, will you look at that!" Edme cried as the two wolves took the last twenty-five feet in two dazzling leaps. (Off a Volcano, of course.)

If it was down, then it could happen. But if it was up, then no way realistic. But I still love the series. Fantasy and wolves are my thing
