It's not about the looks of them, it's more about the personality. Don't judge by looks! I chose my boys for the personalities, and they turned out gorgeous!

Oh rats, you have to love 'em...

My friend has a rat named Oreo. She's adorable, but smells like the garbage can. (I must do an interview of her to see what she's been eating!) She also used to have another rat, a hairless one, named Lily. She was even cuter than Oreo (no offense, Oreo). Unfortunately, Lily died only a month or two after she was adopted due to heart complications.

I don't! I know hairless rats are very friendly. Also, I don't think they are ugly!
However, my parents do. They say they are creepy and they won't live with such an animal ;(

I am current slave to a fuzzy tribe of 16. I rescue them whenever I can (I never pay for rescues though, only take in free to good home etc.) I also am working on a line of rats (I only have a couple of litters a year) I have a website too www.rubyrattery.webs.com

4 babies from a rescue litter I had last year, their mother was part of a group of 18 rats dumped at an op shop (charity store). She was the only female out of 5 that was pregnant luckily (although ideally 0 would have been better :p) But she only had 4 babies and they were all healthy and had wonderful temperaments, 3 were adopted out to wonderful homes and one stayed here with me

Definitely not too many. I encourage photos so that people can see they aren't ugly. Most people see pictures of rats in sewers or on the streets, which in turn causes a connection in the brain: Rat = Dirty. The talk about them being pests and living in such horrible conditions definitely doesn't help.

All of your rats are so beautiful. I have to say though, Genevieve and Petal caught my attention. What are their personalities like? They are so beautiful. =)

Picture of my eldest rat, Romeo, taking a nap-


He is two this month! He is very sweet and calm, and he embodies the concept of squishy manrat. He's my baby boy.

Here is my big, chunky boy, Snitch-



He is a year and a half old and has some hormonal agression problems, but is usually a sweet boy. He came from a rather nasty background, and his genetics are simply horrid, but he's well loved.
And this is Rosebud-


Rosebud is almost a year old. She has been spayed, and is very, very sweet and energetic. She was a rescue from an owner who was unable to care for her anymore, and she was in bad condition. Mites, lonely, eating puppy food, and in a tiny tank. She's doing really well.

So that's my little fuzzies<3

Thank you Sketchy! That's very kind of you I know what you mean, I go to shows and pet expo's etc. with the rat club I am apart of to try to show people what good pets rats can be. It's really rewarding, we have "converted" many people XD You get the odd person walking past going "Ewww *weird face*" But you just do the same thing to them XD It's hilarious.

Genevieve is gorgeous <3 She's got so much personality, She is a Ruby Eyed White (Similar to Black Eyed White, but with Ruby Eyed) She is also a single rex, and she has 3 Argente spots on her shoulder, as well as little orange eyebrows .
Petal is her sister, She is an Argente Variegated Hooded Headspot Downunder! (what a mouthful...)
Genevieve will hopefully be having her first litter soon, my first litter of the year
