I deal with every native species of amphibian in my work and have a few salamanders, toads, and frogs as pets. My favorite are the Marbled Salamanders as they just look lovely c:

And I agree! Marbled salamanders are gorgeous ^-^ sadly wild salamanders are rare in my country so I've only ever seen 1 and that was a pet in my school! It's annoying when people go "Look a lizard!" when he isn't a lizard, I always scream in my head "ITS NOT A REPTILE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" haha. I always get excited when I find any amphibian in the wild.

I don't own any amphibians but I catch frogs/toads/salamanders in my yard a lot. Also I might want a pet axolotl one day cuz they're dope.

Axolotls are awesome, they just smile. They are like the happiest things on earth X3 although apparently they're blind! Pretty easy to care for though.

I want an axolotl so badly! But right now I have a 5 g tank so that's out of question. When I get a big enough tank, I'm definitely going to get an axolotl!
