Yes, may be an alergy. Seriously, in the vid it looked like coughing or sneezing. My guinea pig done that one in a while, but it was only once and then he would be ok for another couple of weeks/months. Nothing like choking though. They look like they are going to throw up when a tomato skin gets stuck to their teeth/mouth. But they do no noises then, and they just do the throwing up action because they are trying to take it off with their tongue.

Yeah that's what he does, it looks like he's going to throw up, but he does make a hacking noise, I'll have to try to get it on video one of these days.

If it's regularly sneezing/coughing/choking (in that video it sounds a lot like sneezing) then that can be a sign of a problem. Every so often a sneeze is normal, regularly can be not good.
I've had 9 guinea pigs over the past 10 years and none of them ever choke, cough or sneeze every time they eat.
Guinea pigs hide illnesses so they may look fine, act fine and be eating fine but still be ill. And they go downhill within days. It really sounds like something to get checked out by a vet, if for nothing more than peace of mind. If there's nothing wrong with it you'll have a cheap vet visit. c:

Agreed. I've had 2 in the past 6 years, but my 2nd one died a couple of months ago. He was 5 and a half years. (I had the piggies at different times. One we got from a pet store, and died within a couple months. The one that just died we got from a breeder). Just in a while it's fine, but every meal time is not normal. My guinea pig died because of a bladder tumor/stone, and a couple of weeks ago it was just fine, with just a couple of weird things every so often. Then, it stroke like a cobra. He stopped eating, being himself or even looking the same, with that poor look in his eye. After a couple of months (He got drops as a treatment, which helped for a long time, then he got worse, and he got put to sleep eventually), he got really bad, and my dad went to put him to sleep.

My story just tells that guinea pigs hide things, and can get really ill in a matter of days, even hours.

It might be because your guinea pig is getting old. Mine is :( and he coughs and sneezes and wheezes but he doesnt choke.. Ever.. But you should get your guinea pig checked out by a vet just in case
