So, went out today to get my ferret
(eventually! As much as I'd like to tellyoualleverythingbecauseomgimsoexcited it's totally off-topic, so feel free to PM me if you want to hear me squee over her XD).

Came back home and found rat babies.
I didn't think she was that close. Three days ago you couldn't even tell she was pregnant.

There's eight, but I'm not keeping my hopes up they'll all survive. One was outside the nest, and two had fallen through the bottom of the cage. And before anyone says anything, the cage bottom if wire, there is a plastic slide-out tray that has a big hole in one corner where my other two girls has chewed it. And for some reason she thought it'd be a good idea to give birth in that corner.
I've moved her & babies into a high walled plastic storage tub, and put the three into the nest with the other.

Poor girl doesnt seem to have a clue whats going on. And the poor little guy is so unhappy that I've took him away from her. Can't put him in with Nimbus & Timbre either, because Nimbus has a skin condition again. My animals pick have the best timing to get sick :/

On the upside, I'm off to the GP sanctuary tomorrow, and I'll be able to see a couple of people who may potentially have some babies. If any survive.
Oh, and another friend from the sanctuary is giving me a Catit carrier. I love those things! i wanted to steal it off her when she brought one of her pigs to the last show in it XD

Did some bonding with my boys today! Indie got all happy and started hopping xD I also took them in the rabbit pen without the rabbits, but the whole time they sat in my hoodie xD Treble sat on my lap and just stared at me lol. They are still jumpy, but getting better! They are so freaking cute lol
"I try twice as hard and I'm half as liked, but here they come again to jack my style."
In real life I have 4 dogs, 3 cats, 2 rabbits, 26 rats, 2 gerbils, 2 cockroaches, 1 turtle, 1 axolotl, and 8 fish.

Went into the rats as soon as I woke his morning.

She's made a proper little nest and has brough the babies into it, and was sitting on top of them & letting them feed.
So pround of my little girl!

She didn't really seem to want me there though, so I'll have to check them all later.

Also came downstairs and found Fabio layed in his food bowl. He's such a little wierdo XD

Had a spending spree at P&H today for Popcorn. He now has:
three (well two now) Parsley And Alfafa chews in storage
      two sweetcorn sticks
and some '' Pick 'n' mix yummy treat shop'' Oven baked carrot snacks.
All of this as well as some lavender scented shavings and new bedding!

Here is Popcorn enjoying a parsley and alfafa snack, sorry it's a phone image and it flipped.

So, slight problem.

Now my little girl has figured out what she's supposed to do, she's not leaving the nest. At least not when I'm around. And I don't know how to get her off so I can check the babies. Plus, because of how she's built it, to get to them I'll have to seriously disturb it, which I'm bothered might upset her.
And I need pictures by tomorrow for my two potential adopters.

Any ideas?

    I so wanted him.

but it would have been a silly and unwise decision so I didn't
