You may only place once.

Only 3 placement winners and 1st Honorable Mention will be selected.
You are welcome to submit multiple pieces of art. However, each individual entrant may only place once.

All art MUST be entirely your own and be made originally for this competition.
The use of AI, bases, or other content not produced by you is strictly prohibited.

I keep all art, even if you do not place. Each entrant will be compensated.

Each entrant will be compensated with 200 c$ for entering, if they provide a qualified entry.
Qualified entry is defined here as at least a MINIMUM of a half-body representation of my sona, that is cleanly-lined and flat-colored, with accurate markings. Greyscale or monochrome entries are permissible, as long as my sona is recognizable. I will let you know if the art does not meet these criteria.

Once a finished piece is entered, you may not withdraw or edit your entry.
I will be immediately downloading all art to my personal storage and uploading to Toyhou.se after the end of the competition. Art that does not qualify for the entry c$ will be allowed 1 resubmission if they still want to enter.

With your entry, please provide a location that you want your completed entry credited to!
If you do not provide additional offsite credit, I will link back to your ChickenSmoothie profile.

All methods of entry welcome.
Traditional entries must be photographed or scanned in good quality.
Please do not upload entries directly to the site to protect image quality.

Please do not deviate from the reference, as much as possible.
Do not draw my sona with other characters (background/featureless characters in a scene are OK but any entries featuring other recognizable characters will be disqualified)

Additional Character Info:

Naqamiel, in his own setting, is an angeltaur. Part ophanim, part chimera, he wanders the land enacting the vengeance of god. The snake tail does have its own sentience, but all entities attached function with the same will and personality. In elaboration, Naqamiel can use both sets of eyes to see, and the two brains relay information between each other. For additional reference, the body parts are golden tiger, human male torso, ibex, sunbeam snake, and bateleur eagle wings.

Naqamiel generally vanquishes the evils of the world and doesn’t interact with sentient life very much. Shadowy creatures/generic demons, etc. are much preferred to any specific character. They do not interact with any of my other characters/lore since they are an angelsona and generally a self-insert.

entry ! this was fun to work on i just wanted to try something new and just go back to my Roots for a moment.. i had an unused tall canvas file that i had other plans for but i just scrapped that for this drawing instead !
