I've decided to quit, so I'd like to hold an art competition for some of the most valuable pets on my account. I'm looking for some great art from all the talented people here on CS!

***If you don't win 1st-5th, I will give you a pet for entering, but I WILL NOT keep your art***


RULES

It must be a drawing from one of the three 'categories' I've given
Entries can be traditional only if it is a high quality scan
Entries can be in any particular style you choose; semi-realistic, minimalistic, b&w, chibi, anime, etc
All art submitted will get some kind of prize, but if you put no effort into your art, please don't bother entering
All art should be your own, and it should be original
You can have up to three submissions

I don't mean to be unkind in my impressions of your artwork, however I tend to be very honest with my critiques as I have been doing traditional art my entire life. These are simply from artist to artist, whether you choose to use my critiques is up to you!

WOW. I assume this is charcoal, which makes me all the more impressed (personally, charcoal is so difficult to not smudge). The only thing that could make it better is if I could have a tangible copy!

I love this! The effort put into the line art, shading, and coloring really bring out how well you captured his personality.

YES. I only fangirled a little when I saw this, I swear. A little more kawaii then I'm used to for Dean, but I love it.

Adorable gif! A little small, but you've captured his likeness pretty well.

I'm not sure if you were trying to draw Chance or not... the line art and colors aren't bad nonetheless.

This is an interesting rendition of Chance. I like the colors, but it doesn't really seem like Chance is the main subject of this piece. It's very 'busy' in the sense that I can't really focus on any one thing in the art.

I'm not a huge fan of this one, mostly for the grainy quality of the drawing/picture and the fact that it was done on a lined sheet of paper. It does look like there was some effort put into this drawing.

I like that it was done on a blank sheet of paper and the shading/line art is a bit cleaner. His eyes are a bit small, however I still favor the last submission.

I think I may have to disqualify this image simply for lack of effort. There is no shading, coloring, and at first I couldn't tell what/who it was. I'm looking for serious/experienced artists, as there are some very valuable pets on the line.
