Introduction
~What is the Horse Art Role Play Game Racehorse Association?~
The HRA is a unique HARPG based horse racing. Here you can adopt and breed thoroughbreds(and occasionally special breeds) to race! Now, we are not literally going to jump on horses and race them. That is where the HARPG part comes in! There are 3 types of races: Artwork, Luck of the Draw, and Speedpaint. Further information on them will be in the paragraphs below. Basically, you will adopt a horse from the HRA racehorse farm/adoption center, enter it into a or many races, and see just how good he/she is! Simple, right?
Rules. READ THEM.
- You MUST own a horse adopted from, bred at, or ordered from the HARPG Racehorse Association adoption center to enter any races.
- You must use your HARPG Racehorse Association adopted horse in the races.
- One entry per person per race!
- NO color-ins or your horse's adoption pic are to be used as entries in ANY of the races.
- respect the judges and other staff!
- NO claiming other peoples art as your own!
- you MUST have permission from an artist to use their artwork in a race!

The Races
~Artwork Racing~
Artwork is the more typical way of competing in HARPG. What do you do? Well, first off you check the "Current Races" page(next post) and choose a race under "artwork racing." You then enter your HRA adopted horse into that race by making art of him/her in a horse race. Then post your artwork in the topic of the race you chose. A judge will evaluate your art against the other entries and choose a winner. You may NOT use the original art of your racehorse(the adoption page) or use color-ins. You MAY hire an artist or "jockey" to make art of your horse for you and use that, as long as you credit the artist in your entry. If you choose to enter in another artwork race, you can reuse a drawing of your horse or make a new one!
~Luck of the Draw~
For those of you how want to test your luck rather that your art, Luck of the Draw is here for you! All you do is check the "Current Races" page(next post) and choose a race under "Luck of the Draw." You then fill out and post your entry form. A judge will use this True Random Number Generator to randomly come up with numbers for everyone who has entered. The judge may pick if the smallest number wins or biggest number wins. It is all random luck!
~Speedpaint~
Speedpaint is usually a time-lapsed painting or digital drawing. But here, it is literally painting fast. Contestants will private message links to the judge of that race that link to artwork of their horses racing. The judge will look at all the times spent on the drawings and go fastest time in first and slowest time last. The judge will ALSO take quality of the art into consideration. Plenty of quality stuffed into speed! You MUST use to Oekaki for this race and once you have entered you drawing, you can NOT change your entry! NO color-ins or ordered art!
