Kaycee you are not allowed to keep my art.

Sorry, but that's a bit rude. It said in the rules she would be keeping all of the art, you knew that when you entered. If Kaycee doesn't want to keep it, that's another story, but otherwise you knew from the beginning that, win or lose, she would be keeping the art.

I think this is the same situation as when people say, "I can end my contest if I don't like the entries I'm getting." Even though they say that doesn't mean they can. Whether she said she was going to keep all the entries or not, I believe an artist can opt out of allowing her to keep it if they were not compensated. If an artist does not wish to simply give their art away for free then they have the right to do that, I don't find it rude at all. XD

Sorry, just stating the rules. I mean, I personally find it rude, and really if I did a custom piece of art for someone, what would I do with it if they didn't keep it? They might as well, not much other use for it with me. Guess I'm just used to ending up giving free art in contests ><

@The Royal Mirage Some people are okay with it, some aren't. :\ Personally, when someone cheats me out of payment I don't give them the piece and then screw around with the piece and make something for myself instead. XD There's no point in wasting effort on a nice picture and then just giving it to someone for free when that's not what you wanted, so a lot of people decide to get rid of the distinguishing features of the original characters (hair, markings, clothes, etc. XD) and just make it their own. The risk of entering contests is that you might not get "payment" in the end, but the risk of holding a contest where you aren't compensating every single entrant is that you may not get to keep all the art. :\

@Prodigy Haha no. XD Regardless of KAYCEE's rules, every artist has the rights to their art can choose whether someone else gets to keep their art or not when they were not paid for it. And she can say it however she chooses if she doesn't want Kaycee keeping her art. XD

Thank you Sunset, I am not interested in giving my art away for free. I really though it was a decent piece and no I will not waste it on something I get paid nothing for. I am aware Kaycee you said you were going to keep all art, but all I could do is add hair and a background and call it Ezio. So please regard my statement, and thank you for your opinions though they were not really necessary.

After a serious battle with myself in trying to decide the winner (and 2nd place/3rd place/Runner-Ups), I have finally decided on a winner. Please do not be discouraged if you did not get into the finalists. This choice was really hard to choose a winner. .____.; If you are deciding to delete your photo afterwards, PLEASE DO NOT! At least wait a few days while I import these all into my computer (and get yet another GB worth of photos xD) into my computer. If you're not deleting them and keeping them with the original file, then thank you. You're making my life a lot easier xD

They had many great drawings, whether it be a black and white shaded picture, an animation, or even a lovely cell-shaded picture. This person had an amazing picture that I couldn't even express in words. The detail in the background as well as the scene of the picture was too beautiful for me to comprehend.
