Tomorrow begins the last week of term. I hope to at least make a little more progress during that week, but I'm going to have a lot more time available to dedicate to judging come the school-holidays! c:

Here is my poem

The Ice Spirit
Oh great dragon why do you roar,
Do you roar because you are lost and alone
Alone on your mountain with nothing to fear
With teeth like daggers and scales like ice
Your daggerlike horns fill all with fright
The ice slowly freezes what’s left of your soul
Leaving you feeling cold and alone.
You have given up hope of finding a mate,
All you can do is curse at fate.
The knights are coming,
to rid this place of you.
But you lay down your head,
And simply wait,
For you have acknowledged your fate,
And roared for the last time.
With the new moon roses bloom on your chest.
Goodbye, oh, great ice spirit.

Here is my story for your competition <3

It had to be on of the most harsh winters in Bangash, and island for dragons. Karsha, the leader of the Eis Tribe was sharply watching his tribe huddle together to share fresh prey, communicate gossip, or just little ones playing around.
Karsha flicked his blue, crystal like tail and stood up puffing out his scaly blue chest.

"Karsha!" Spoke a voice below the large rock of which Karsha was standing on.

Karsha lifted up his great head and narrowed his eyes, talking to him was Kirtho. Kirtho was an earth dragon before his whole tribe got wiped out so now he lives with the Eis Tribe.

"Yes Kirtho?" Karsha said bothered by the fact that Kirtho was talking out of turn, yet again.

"We've..." Kirtho looked around nervously, "Have a rogue in camp"

Karsha straightened his posture,

"Whom is it?" Karsha narrowed his eyes down at Kirtho.

Kirtho looked back and at dark black dragon covered with white dots that seemed to look like stars sat quietly in the middle of camp and has its tail wrapped around it's claws,

"Her name is Halaf" Kirtho said curtly.

"Halaf?" Karsha looked down at her and stood up boldly, "Halaf, Please come up!" Karsha's voice boomed throughout the camp.

Halaf looked up and smiled spread on her face, "Hmm?"

"Why are you here?" Karsha said skeptically. He looked around and noticed everyone in the camp was staring up at them now.

Halaf staggered up to the rock, "To bring you a prophecy"

Karsha scrunched up his nose, "Prophecy?"

Halaf bowed her head, "Yes, The Stars of Above have given it to me to tell you" she looked around, "They said that When the Sun meets Moon and The Ice meets the Fire will come a great one from below." she looked around,
"They didn't say what but.."

Karsha stood up and looked around, "That's Nonsense" he hissed angrily swaying his tail, "I forbid you in my camp!
Now LEAVE"

Halaf bowed her head and slowly staggered out of camp she looked at Kirtho and winked her one eye. Karsha sat back down his head buzzing with ideas.
