I can tell you both I don't have talent. I was hoping to win *as everyone else was* but how much harder do I have to push on my art? I know the shadings not great but Masq, if i may call you that, can you tell me what you think I need to work on?

Nawww, Exodus, your stuff is REALLY good. MS Paint is INCREDIBLY hard to work with. As Mask said, everything looks great! The anatomy was slightly off, but really, it was a GREAT entry and you have a really unique style. :3 As I said before, art competitions are a tough thing. Most of the time you DO lose (I do, other people do, etc. I mean, 2 people won out of what... 20 or 30?). You just have to be glad for the times when you do win. ^_^

Thank you both, really. I'm just a sore loser honestly. I just hope whoever won the sunback didn't have one already, that would make me really upset.
And Yes I know practice is great but I've been switching styles a lot and well it never looks right anymore.

So I guess this is just my little rant, I rather get it out now then it add over time. Hopefully I'll be in another contest for a sunback. But I feel I'm losing my touch so I don't think I'd enter anyway.

And another thing, Toki you are right but a lot of times its always the best artist who wins and they win constantly. I want to win because of hours of effort not because I can draw a dog better than someone...
