No, please do! As long as it was an idea from you, it can be inspired by anything else. As an artist, I am constantly looking at other, more talented people and trying to take little bits and pieces I can apply to my own technique and style. As long as the image is completely your own, feel free to use whatever references or inspiration you'd like! (follow reference rules!)
