Why do you want this pet?
Where do I even start? I love the pickle's sour expression. His whole personality and demeanor always makes me want to give him a hug. To be honest, I never thought I'd even have the chance to enter a contest for him. I know that he's really rare (I'm a little confused by the lists so I don't fully understand how rare in some terms but I understand that he's highly valued by a lot of people for how few of them there are).

Rarity is an important part of how a lot of people at CS play the game. However, for me it's a fun but not determining factor. For instance, if you were to click on my themed dreamie groups right now, you would see that there are commons and uncommons side by side with the rares and very rares, etc. What I like about a pet is that spark of personality it has. I like the story it comes with, it's history at CS and the time names it's collected or the time it's spent. I love pets that are the kind that you see and want to write a story about or make you wonder what they're thinking. The pickle is the epitome of that.

The pickle has a simple but absolutely ingenuous design. I love that he's a pickle! If you go back to his stages, each expression shows something of his history and personality. Life for the pickle can be difficult! What I would like to do is honor that and yet incorporate him in a fun and playful way into my dreamie groups to show that life's downs don't always have to get you down. Somehow I imagine him as the Grumpy type from Snow White. He's got a gruff exterior but he's actually a dedicated and caring friend as well as a hardworker. It may just be that having a tough outer shell is how he copes.

Really, I could go on for pages about the pickle's personality and the way he inspires the imagination.

In absolute and all honesty, I would not trade him. For me, it's not a game of getting a 'better pet.' I'm entering this contest because he IS the pet I want.

Ok. What I need to tell you to answer this question is that I have a policy against naming pets before I actually have them. This has come from entering a few competitions where I learned something about myself. Like a pet at the pet store, if I name something, I get overly attached to it and that's not really in the spirit of the contest. I want to be able to be happy for the winner and be able to congratulate them in all honesty. I can tell you already that I adore this cute little pickle so much that I don't want to give him a name unless I know that I luck out and get the amazing honor of getting to give him a home on my account.

On a happier note, I can tell you that I would probably dress him up. I think that's part of his charm - coming up with inventive ways to accessorize him as clothes aren't made particularly for him. It's funny since he's so dour but I feel like the pickle is a particularly festive pet. I'd like to have him dressed up for every season if not every holiday. If he ever felt like it, he could dress up and join my pirate crew theme group and sail off on adventures with them. Then the next day, he could join my garden group if he chose, etc etc. All of those are locked NFT groups and I could even make him a few themed groups of his own. That way, not only is he dressed up, but he's with a whole gaggle of people who are dressed and themed too!

I think I have been lucky enough to end up with three Advent list pets and one low September list pet. (I could be wrong as I don't know my lists very well but those are the ones I know of.) One I got my pure chance from the pound. The other three were gifted to me by users who were living over the span of the time I've been collecting pets here on CS. I have promised never to give any of those three away and I am keeping my word. I know that means I probably won't reach higher on the lists any time soon but the lists aren't the point to me. The point is the pets. I've committed to these pets just as much as I have to some of my common pets that I have decided are my dreamies too based on merits of their own designs and character that shines through.

I am committed to my pets regardless of rarity. If they are ones I have been gifted or have sought out, I can't trade them. I know that means my chances at higher list pets that I love too probably aren't very good. I understand and accept that. But I feel like, in the situations where I've gotten a pet from the pound or I was especially gifted a pet or that I've found a pet that's special to me, they shouldn't mean less just for not being on the list. That doesn't mean I don't also love pets on the list. There are ones, such as this one that I'd love to have for reasons I go on about more in another section.

Gearback, Both cookies, another pink cookie, Malk pps, Maroinette dog, and another marionette dog. I also have a Purple Sleipner, and a white Lolita. If you count it, I have a line tribal that FoxerOwl currently has. It is their dream pet, so I am letting them borrow it to dress it up. I think that I counted them all. If I did, then I have 9or 10, depending on whether or not you count the Line Tribal.

Why do you want this pet? Honestly, there are few pets so entertaining on this site as the oddballs such as this one. ^_^ It's hilarious and I'd love to group it with the pickle bunny from this last Easter.

Why do you want this pet? It is a pickle, and a pickle I shall have! I also wish to eventually collect all chicken smoothie pets ever made, and I might as well start somewhere. And it's a pickle. I happen to love pickles as well as random things.

Will you trade it? No! Maybe if I manage to get another one, because there are other pickless people out there and i don't need two. Or I might give it away if I quit or something like that, but I am not planning on trading it away for something else, seeing as it is rare and I really want it and trading it would be kind of stupid.

I would Like this pet because...well its a pickle...that gives it its own scale of AWESOMENESS! But seriously, I would like this pickle because it is a pet that would make me laugh, and that, is, once again, a pickle....(its a pickle!!) Umm, ya you already know that (Duh) but i think that this pet should go to a responsible owner that would not have it sent to the pound within a week. The internet is not somewhere to fool around, so I take extra caution on how I behave on websites, ensuring that I will not be banned. I think that I would love having this pickle, I would show it in my signature as my Pet Pickle Peeta (HG fanatic? Thats me!) I wuld not keep it in hiding from the world, but I also wouldnt lose this pet.

UMMMM...NO!!!! ITS MY PEETA!!! Seriously, I wouldnt trade someone's whole account for this pet. I have been looking for this pickle ever since I started out on chicken smoothie helping my friend (DreamRider she is very nice you should trade with her) in 2011. Aside from the '09 leopard rainbow dog, this is my ultimate dreamie.
