Most pounds and shelters keep dogs for a certian amount of time. Then when the last day comes, the dogs find a deep sleep that they cannot wake up from. Other shelters are a happier place. Every dog in there gets another chance. Those are the no-kill shelters. They keep the healthy ones and put them up for adoption, and they are always adopted out. The unhealthy ones sadly get the no-waking sleep treatment. Wether they have unhealthy additudes or conditions, they get put to rest, no matter where they go. Shelter pets and mistake mutts are actually the best dogs there are-they are the cheapest, healthiest dogs ever. Mixes and crosses are the most popular dogs ever.
