I think the competition is won, watermelon. Tesa's entry is amazing, and many have voted for her... You can keep the poll up if you want, but I think that will be the end result anyway.
To Tesa-whether or not this voting stops. Amazing job. Your story was quick but easy to understand and you felt the characters as your own. You sympathized with them. It was just good. (;

I'm glad that you enjoyed it! Perhaps I'll get around to continuing the story one day, if people would be interested. {Maybe. Haha, I've noticed over time that I have a bad habit of saying this and not actually getting around to doing it unless someone's prodding me with a stick.}

I did like your story though, Ice. I can connect with your character well, and your story fits the actual song better than mine does. My story was originally supposed to be about a serious, responsible, and quiet eight year old princess whom began to crack under the pressure of maintaining a facade of perfection for the public, but at the end makes peace with it or finds a friend, but somehow I went off at a tangent. And now it's about a terrorist attack.
