No, it's a design contest, based on design. Wolf explained why they liked the placed entries and none of them say anything about talent. If it was judged on talent (whether Wolf was lying or not) would be selfish and you have learned a lesson. P: Besides, if you feel that you can't draw well, then you should be drawing to improve and for fun because it's (hopefully) what you like to do. :3
