Winston is often trusted with secrets because he's good at keeping them and doesn't judge people. Winslow can somehow also be way too nice and for that reason often ends up really sad when people use him, for this reason he often tries to stay away from people and only makes friends with people who he feels he can trust.

Yea.. So does Winslow.
When Winslow was just a pup (or whatever baby wombats are called) he left his family to pursue a career in Oceanography, after working hard for several years he was able to study sea animals (Which he was and still is fancinated with today) and decided to open up an aquarium which was extremely successful for the first few years, there Winslow made friends with a squid (nicknamed Toby) which saved his life when Winslow fell in one of the large open habitats while feeding the sharks. For this reason Winslow is still really attached to squids today. Winslow got his lucky sharktooth when he first opened the aquarium, as it was a gift from his mother. Once the aquarium began failing economically Winston thought of ways to save it, he decided to invite his friend over to help him manage his aquarium. One day his friends were messing around and dropping something in the water resulting in the death of Toby which quickly changed Winslow he became depressed and decided to be more careful of who he trusted from now on, one of his friends who felt sorry gifted him a squid beanie which Winslow still wears today to remind him of Toby.
With Toby dead and the aquarium failing Winslow began to lose hope and closed his aquarium for good, when his friends heard this news however they couldn't help but feel as if they caused this, so they pooled their money and bought it back, made it more exciting, and gifted to back to Winslow for his birthday.. One of the new exhibits was called the, "Swim with the squids"exhibit and is best known for the plaque comemorating Toby in the entrance.
